The editors of Condé Nast Traveller, the leading luxury travel magazine, have compiled the annual Gold List for 2019, and Anassa is included once again. The Gold List comprises the hotels and resorts favoured by the editors for their classic, exceptional, even brilliant qualities. Originally a project of the UK magazine, the Gold List is this year for the first time a transatlantic collaboration among editors at the UK and US sister magazines. As such, the list is truly global in scope, spanning six continents and 36 countries. Anassa is one of just 78 hotels in the world named to this year’s Gold List—and the only one in Cyprus to be included. Praising the property for its ‘weighty elegance,’ ‘smart’ aesthetic, and ‘endless space everywhere,’ the editors sum up the broad appeal of the hotel: Anassa is ‘as on the button for peace-seeking grown-ups as it is for half-term and school holiday hijinks.’ Check out the full review on the Condé Nast Traveller site.
