Anassa Easter 2018 Easter is the most important religious festival in Cyprus - it is a celebration of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection and of the joyous renewal of Spring. Our Ayia Athanasia Chapel hosts the full sequence of Orthodox religious commemorations (6-8 April). We also offer a special programme of activities for the Catholic and protestant Easter weekend (30 March-1 April).
